| Grouse Feather Kennel is dedicated to
breeding and raising the highest quality hunting and field trial
English Setters. Our bloodlines are from the best available
in the country. We actively foot hunt over our dogs and horseback
field trial in shooting dog stakes. We hunt ruffed grouse and
woodcock in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, pheasants in the Dakotas,
prairie grouse in Montana and quail in Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia.
Each year we selectively breed and whelp
one or two litters from which to upgrade our hunting and field
trial string of dogs. We often have puppies, some started
dogs, and the occasional finished dog available for sale.
These dogs have been well socialized and come with a health
guarantee. We are not a high volume kennel, instead focusing
on quality instead of quantity. Our reputation is based on
this philosophy and we stand behind every dog that we breed.
